Frequently asked questions
Still stuck? Call (331) 216-4447 and a human picks up.
How do I start service with Fresh Scoop?
Click Sign Up Now or call us at (331) 216-4447. We’ll get your first cleanup on the schedule.
Is there an extra charge for the initial cleaning?
Yes. Your first cleanup as a new customer is $75. Everything after that follows the pricing of the plan you selected.
Do I have to sign a contract?
No. Our service requires no contract and can be cancelled at any time.
Do I have to be home when my yard is serviced?
No — our staff only needs access to the yard. The one exception is your initial cleaning, where we ask that you be present and available.
How and when is payment collected?
Billing is prepaid monthly and due on the 1st of each month. Your payment covers all scheduled services for the
upcoming month. Payments are processed automatically using your approved card or bank account on file. If service begins partway through a month, your first payment will include the initial cleanup (if applicable) along with the remaining scheduled visits for that month.
To pause or discontinue service, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice before the 1st of the month. There are no cancellation fees.
What happens if it rains or snows?
We service year-round, rain or shine. If severe weather makes your yard unsafe or inaccessible, we’ll return within a few days where we can, or catch it at your next scheduled visit — your regular rate still applies, since the extra waste gets removed then. In winter, more than an inch of snow on your service day means we postpone to the next visit and remove all visible waste. Anything hidden under snow is guaranteed to be cleared once the yard is accessible again.
Can my dog be in the yard during service?
For the safety of our technicians and your pets, we recommend keeping dogs indoors — it also prevents accidental escapes when gates open. If your dog is friendly with strangers we can often work around them, but our technicians may ask that pets come inside if they can’t work safely.
